With over 20 years of experience in Travel, M4 Travel Architect Travel Agency (M4TA) was born. M4TA has been the premier travel agency for the city of San Antonio and the surrounding areas. We are a locally owned and operated business with a wealth of knowledge, experience, and certifications in travel. Your vacation is custom designed and built using a 4 point method. No cookie-cutter and no two vacations are ever the same. We take a very consultative approach to our client’s needs. We are dedicated to providing our clients with exceptional custom-tailored trips based on their unique needs, vision, and budgets. Working one-on-one to design and build the journey they have dreamed about. We go beyond traditional travel options with over 3000 suppliers to utilize in our custom design to make it truly unforgettable. We also act as an advocate and liaisons when our clients are traveling.
Anyone can click a button. We provide so much more than that. That Expedia product you found on their site is one of our suppliers too. However, there are so many more suppliers that we can utilize.
About Elizabeth Macias
Elizabeth began traveling intensely around the world approximately 20 years ago. She never thought it was possible to travel with two children having special needs. Then her father-in-law was diagnosed with colon cancer at the young age of 55. It was something that he said to her:
“I always had a bucket list. I didn’t have the money to raise a family. Then I got so busy generating money that I didn’t have time to see what I wanted to see and experience. I worked and worked without stopping to smell the roses. Now I don’t have the health or time. 1-2 weeks out of 52 isn’t much to see in the world. Enjoy your family away from the day-to-day job. Give your family the world, and open their eyes to see what is out there. People don’t plan to fail but fail to plan. All things are possible.”
That saying began the Macias method of travel. The method of creating time to travel and a budget accordingly, taking her family of 6 on vacations. Then her family of 6 and her extended family, then groups of 20-40 people. She’d plan precisely what she wanted her family to experience unique cultural and historical submersion. Then call her Travel Agent and have them book it for them. Elizabeth's Travel Agent would tell her she should be the agent on file year after year. Her children and family would say that her travel passion was phenomenal. She didn’t want the family to be a "stay-at-home family" as there is so much to experience with a very active family. However, it wasn’t until her children were in college that she decided to make it official. In 2018 Elizabeth obtained her certifications, so began the journey and the birth of M4 Travel Architect, or M4TA.
